The RUB VR Summit will bring together academic and industrial researchers developing the use of extended reality in biomedical and related sciences. The invited speakers from USA, UK, Germany, Portugal and Spain (including Mel Slater and David Chalmers who will give the keynote lectures) represent top level of current developments in XR research.
The conference talks will tackle hot topics ranging from collaborative spaces, through embodiment of virtual avatars to using extended reality for neurorehabilitation.

The hackathon planned as accompanying event is open to students and researchers fascinated in interdisciplinary research and development of extended reality. The proximity of the conference will let hackathon participants interact with top-level experts in XR research.
The main theme of this year's hackathon will be the use of VR in neurorehabilitation. Join the hackathon and help real humans move in virtual worlds!
